Lanett is from Charlotte, NC. She is the next to the oldest out of 5 siblings. She is a US Navy Veteran. She is also the Owner of Nettie's Corner LLC, a family business for all of her future endeavors. She writes contemporary fiction, including romance that reflects her world and time. She is also a Certified Life Coach. She is a survivor of many toxic relationships. Her resilience gave her the strength to move on. Knowing when to walk away, she has never let them define her. She channels all her emotions into writing. When she isn't writing, she loves to cook, travel and explore new places and things. She is a lover of romance movies and still believes in happily ever after.

Lola is a 29 year old African American business woman, thriving in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. She has her own Bakery and Cafe. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University at the top of her class, majoring in Business Management. She along with 2 other college friends decided once they graduated they would all open up a restaurant. They are the ultimate sisterhood. These ladies have a front row seat to Lola's journey through life. They are the ones she run to for advice, or when she needs to cry, or times she needs to be checked. They all hold each other down no matter what. She has been running her business for 5 years when things started to change. Her life was very routine until she started dating again, which wasn't yielding any promising results. Then out of no where someone from her past comes back in town and turns her world upside down. Lola has many decisions to make while dealing with the death of her father, running a business, maintaining a normal dating life and deciding whether or not she wants to deal with her past. She embarks on a journey that will be filled with ups and downs, happiness, heartache, and ultimately Love.
